The 1st Highland Scoot was held May 1959, in 2010 The Highland Scoot took the same route as 1959. It attracted a large number of riders from all over Europe, as well as media interest national, local and classic Scootering magazines. The 2013,4th May Highland Scoot will take the same route as the 1960 Highland Scoot Tickets are only £10, with a free BBQ and limited addition commemorative medal,Free Saturday night doo with free buffet . HIGHLAND SCOOT 2013 ROUTE (170 miles) A9 From Stirling to Dunblane B8033 >A822 >B827 to Comrie A85 to St Fillans, along Loch Earn, Through Glen Ogle>A827 to Killin, a couple of miles past killin take a left on to a unnamed mountain rd, Past Loch Na Lairge, along Glen Lyon (the lonley glen) to kenmore at the head of Loch Tay, mountain road through Glen Quaich, past Loch Freuchie, A822 to Crieff, A822 through Glen Eagles, Glen Devon, A91 along the Ochil Hills, through Dollar, Tillicoultry, Alva, Menstrie and back to Stirling Please Send A Cheque Or Postal Order with your name and address, phone no. Saturday night doo will be in the Green Lounge,Stirling Indoor Bowling Club, Forth Street, Stirling 7pm FK8 1UF 01786 463168.
It is a couple of minutes walk from the City Centre

Every entrant will get a unique limited numbered vinyl patch to pin on to thier backs for the highland scoot. This is in line with a recommendation made by Vespa Club Scotland 1960 to improve it from the 1959 Scoot i'e Stuart MacDonald is no 1010]

We have exceeded the amount of tickets sold for 2010 Scoot. Cut of date for getting a ticket for 2013 Highland Scoot will be 21st April.

Friday Night Meet and Greet location has been changed from Allan Park Hotel to Golden Lion Hotel 8-10 King Street, Stirling FK8 1BD.. It is right in the heart of the city. 7pm.

Looking forward to the Run on Saturday, lets hope the weather is kind to us. ;D PS. Is there petrol stops planned on route or would it be worth bringing a fuel can?

Make sure you have a full tank leaving Stirling... The last chance to fill up with fuel is on the A85 next to the A827 junction (Killin rd.) next one on route is Crieff.. At Kenmore you could take a small detour to Aberfeldy and make your way back to Kenmore to continue on the route
